"Misty, go on in and meet Miss Sylvia!"
"I'm scared," said Misty. "What if she doesn't like me?"
"Do you see Rescue Dust Molly?" asked Cricket.
"Enough to make me sneeze," laughed Molly.
"Just go meet her, Misty. You can come back to our house if you don't want to stay," the girls said.
This WAS a big suprise. It happened so quickly that she didn't have time to get nervous.
"I hope she likes me," thought Misty.
"My name is Sylvia," said the upright. "Aren't you the prettiest girl in the world! Would you like to come in and have a cup of tea?"
Misty thought for sure she was in heaven. She had never been invited to tea by an upright before.
"I used to have a beautiful dog like you, " said Syliva, "but not any more."
Misty recognized the sound of missing someone in Sylvia's voice and she trusted her immediately.
"I used to have a beautiful lady like you," said Misty, "but not any more."
Sylvia recognized the feeling in Misty's voice too.
"I feel like I've known you all of my life," said Syliva.
"I was thinking the exact same thing," smiled Misty.
"I was hoping you would be my new lady," smiled Misty.
"You have such a beautiful home Miss Sylvia," Misty said.
"Our beautiful home," smiled Sylvia, "you are a honey bunny and I just love you!"
"You're no bunny 'til some bunny loves you," smiled Misty.
"Bunnies!" thought Misty. She suddenly remembered her friends were waiting outside in the Wigglebus.
"I have to say goodbye to my friends," said Misty, "and tell them the good news!"
She could tell by the smiles on their faces that nothing needed to be said at all.
Patrick was already bringing Misty's belongings into the house.
"Thank you everyone!" Misty said. "I know I will be so happy here. And good luck finding the best puppy in the world!"
"Congratulations Misty! Take good care of Sylvia! We love you!" her friends hollered back.
"It's never too late to find some bunny special," laughed Molly Malone.
