Busted!  
 


The Wiggle Crew was feeling pretty happy seeing the dogs get a new leash on life. 

"You just never know," said Wiggle,  "when you are driving down the street and you pass some sort of vehicle, just who might be hiding in it and what their story is.  Everyone has a story."
"It was three years ago this month that the lumber truck delivered me to my furever home.  No one on the outside would have had any idea that a little rescue waif was a stow-away inside." said Henry.

"You were a STOW-AWAY once?" gasped Cricket and Molly in amazement.

Wiggle chuckled.  "I told you that he would understand."

"Yes I was," said Henry.  "But I didn't bring two suitcases full of accessories with me!" he laughed.
"Imagine," said Scruffy, "if every single car helped even once to transport rescue pups for just an hour...we could get every single rescue into a furever home."

"Oh no!" grumbled Henry.  "Were we driving too fast Wiggle?"

"I don't think so," she said earnestly.

"I'm getting pulled over by the pawlice," said Henry.
"Is this your vehicle sir?" asked the pawficer.

"Yes sir, I'm Henry Holland, this is my bus.  Was I doing anything wrong Pawficer?"

"Hi Henry, nice to meet you.  My name is Officer Andy. I wanted to tell you that you have a busted tail light."

Henry could hear the kids giggling in the back of the bus.
"Wiggle has a tail?" whispered Patrick to the others in surprise.

"Are you on some sort of rescue trip?" asked Officer Andy.

"We are just returning from one," said Henry.  "Thanks alot for letting me know we have a light out."

"No problem," said Officer Andy. "Glad to help out a fellow rescuer!  If you get a chance, you might like to look up my friend the Animal Officer.  There are all sorts of rescues there,  horses, dogs, cats, birds, and sometimes even lizards!"

"That would be fantastic!" said Henry.  He hadn't seen horses since his wandering days in Tennessee.

"Here," said Officer Andy, writing down the number. "Why don't you call?  And don't forget to get that tail light fixed!  See you around!"

"What a nice pawficer," said HT.

"I'm so embarrassed," said Wiggle, "I didn't even know my tail light was out."

"Don't even think about it Wiggle," said Henry.  "If your tail light hadn't been out, we wouldn't have met Pawficer Andy and we never would have found out about the animal pawficer.  This could be a fun adventure!"
